British Centre (BC) in the University library in Bratislava was established in collaboration with the British Council in Slovakia. The center was officially opened October the 2nd. 2007, in the presence of British ambassador in Slovakia Michael Roberts and director of the British Council in Slovakia Huwa Jones. Its aim is to make available library documents, disseminating information about the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Assistance in obtaining information, education and support of cultural and educational events for Professional and layic public who are interested in British cultural studies, English language and literature.
