The book exhibition was avaiable from 3.3.2025
The exhibition of books from the NATO Depository Library collection at UKB presented various views of experts on the current unstable and chaotic world, where the quality of relations between states will no longer be determined by compliance with international law, but by the military and economic power that states can dispose of. The change in the world order is increasingly visible and is manifested primarily in the power struggle between Russia, China and the USA. The main objective of the exhibition was to provide a presentation of publications by various authors specializing in this issue.

The exhibition focused on the specific approach of communist China to globalization processes, which differs from Western models. A key pillar of China's globalization strategy is the Belt and Road Initiative. The project, which was introduced in 2013, connects countries around the world and aims to strengthen economic and political ties with communist China through the construction of transport infrastructure (roads, railways, ports) and the construction of energy and digital networks. In addition to this project, other large-scale initiatives have been launched, which aim to deepen the dependence of all countries of the world on China, so that it can achieve the position of the number one global power by 2049 at the latest.
