Covid-19 basic information, symptoms and prevention

Dear University Library Users and Visitors, in compliance with the measures of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, and in order to protect your health and our health from COVID-19, we kindly ask you to respect the following regulations:

•    We request that you not enter the library premises if you have any respiratory disease symptoms (cough, cold, breathing difficulty, increased temperature).

•    With regard to the ongoing risk of COVID-19 infection, we advise you to carefully consider your visit to our library.

•    You may not enter the library without covering your nose and mouth with a mask or scarf. Masks/scarves must be worn by visitors during their entire stay on the library premises.

•    The hand sanitizer must be used upon entering the building.

•    Visitors to the library premises may not sit directly next to another visitor.

•    The number of visitors on the library premises is strictly regulated:
        - only 1 person per 15 square metres of the indoor space,
        - the number of seats in the study rooms is temporarily limited; the visitors are obliged to practise strict social distancing.

•    Please keep 2 meters apart. We kindly ask you to notice the signs on the floor and act accordingly.

•    We request that you maintain proper hygiene, especially hand hygiene.

The University Library in Bratislava reserves the right to not allow entry to people who violate the above mentioned measures. (Article 4, paragraphs 2 and 12 of the Library regulations of UKB).
